The Story of Kiattua and
Qussuk River
Founded in 2017 by us, Jon and Anika, Kiattua started as a unique concept to offer an immersive Greenland experience. Unlike traditional stays, Kiattua was designed to let guests live in harmony with nature – feeling every sunrise and sunset, the changes in wind and temperature, directly connecting with the environment.
In January 2023, our journey took a significant turn when we acquired the fishing concession for the Qussuk River. Recognizing the river's potential as a prime spot for Arctic char fishing, we saw an opportunity to combine the exhilarating fishing experience with the comforts of Kiattua. Our goal was to offer something more than just a fishing trip: an adventure where luxury meets wilderness.

The Qussuk River, rich in Arctic char and surrounded by some of the oldest geological formations on Earth, offers an unparalleled fishing adventure.
